Physical Therapy
Physical therapy at University Community Hospital improves the patient's strength, range of motion, pain, coordination, balance and movement.  Therapists develop a comprehensive, individualized plan based on an evaluation.  Therapy services may include active and passive exercise, modalities such as electrical stimulation, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, traction and manual therapy techniques.  Patients and caregivers receive education, participate in goal setting and their treatment planning.
